Job Overview
Greenspring Media is seeking a dynamic and experienced Independent Account Representative to help develop new business and grow existing client base for our award-winning portfolio of publications, digital marketing offerings and events. Brands include: Minnesota Monthly, Midwest Home, Meetings + Events (nationwide), Group Tour Media (nationwide), and Food & Wine Experience, GrillFest, Fine Spirits and more. This role will sell a portfolio of these award-winning products including print, digital advertising, and sponsorships.
We are looking for candidates who are motivated, self-starters who will have the flexibility to set their own schedule, work remotely when and where they like, and will have the opportunity for excellent income potential with a 100% commission structure.
Responsibilities
- Prospect, develop, maintain, and grow revenue-generating relationships with new and existing businesses
- Communicate our product offerings and unique value-proposition to advertisers, over the phone, through in-person meetings/presentations and through formal campaign proposals.
- Work with all internal groups (marketing, research, strategy, etc.) to prospect new business, to ensure campaign success and to grow our position in the print and digital marketplace.
Requirements
- Ideal sales candidate will be financially driven, highly disciplined and have a strong work ethic
- Have the ability and desire to meet and exceed revenue goals and excel in highly competitive markets
- Conduct strategic, consultative, and analytical sales approach with focus on building partnerships with clients
- Driven, self-starter who is able to execute and deliver without day-to-day management
- Sharp business sense and resourceful
- Must be service-oriented, with knowledge of advertising/marketing/promotions
- Excellent oral, planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Some traveling may be required
