Position Specific Description

Our team provides Identity & Access Management services for our corporate enterprise. We are continually enhancing and expanding those services to meet our organization's needs. We treat these services as products with a focus on providing value to our internal customers. The Senior Architect is an expert in Identity & Access Management technology and processes. In this role, the architect is responsible for development of strategy, roadmaps, design, and implementation of technical and process solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Works with business partners to analyze strategy and trends to define the requirements, principles, and models that guide technology decisions
  • Communicates and enforces technology standards with business partners
  • Understands industry trends and the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies
  • Drives digital innovation and develops roadmaps through new technologies and approaches to fulfill strategic business plans
  • Defines high-level migration plans to address gaps in current state
  • Coaches, mentors, and leads technical subject matters experts to enable and drive consistency across technology architectures
  • Designs and owns governance, assurance, and standards activities for enterprise technology architecture compliance
  • Oversees and facilitates the evaluation, risk assessment, selection, and design of hardware and software technology and product standards
  • Delivers technology architecture artifacts, possibly including reference architectures or concepts of operation
  • Manages technical relationships with technology goods and services suppliers
  • Designs cost-effective and process-oriented solutions leveraging business analysis and process development methods
  • Develops process flows that clearly demonstrate operation of subject technology and how people work with it
  • Develops clear design diagrams at high-level for design and communication with stakeholders; and low-level for instructing development team
  • Gain stakeholder support by simplifying complex technical information and demonstrating business value
  • Takes technical leadership role among team with focus on communications, collaboration, and trust
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
Essential Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years engineering and supporting compute and cloud infrastructure systems

  • Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Strong leadership skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, motivating others, and relationship building
