JOB SUMMARY: Hydraulic Technician is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the hydraulic facilities and equipment.
PRE-REQUISITES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Marine Diesel Mechanic Certificate or Equivalent
- 3+ years experience as a Hydraulic Technician on 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible
- 7+ years previous experience in a role with 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater Semi-Submersible
- 5+ years experience with AKMH, MH Wirth and MH Crown Compensator equipment
- Previous experience with all Hydraulic equipment power units, tanks levels, etc.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
- Recent (within the last 1-2 years) Harsh Environment Experience
- 7+ years experience on Harsh Environment MOUs
- Structured and organized mindset
- High level of integrity
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Must pass Physical, Drug Screen and Background/Pre-Employment Screening Checks
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES:
- Perform maintenance and repair work as well as fault-finding work on hydraulic systems
- Update drawings of hydraulic systems (P&ID) whenever approved changes are made.
- Responsible for hydraulic workshop w/equipment.
- Responsible for stock of hydraulic hoses and fittings.
- Observe to uncover any non-compliance and immediately report these to his superior.
- Responsible for ensuring that all work is done safely and professionally and actively take part in safety meetings and other meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
