Job Overview
James Lane Mechanical , a leading full-service mechanical contracting company, is looking for an HVAC AutoCAD Designer to join our team in Wichita Falls, TX !

In this position, you will:
Develop shop drawings in AutoCAD MEP and Revit for pre-fabrication and construction documents for HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems
Visit job sites and conduct site surveys
Sketch out as-built drawing of existing HVAC and plumbing systems
Perform piping and duct sizing for systems and equipment
Develop 3D modeling to ensure mechanical systems don't interfere
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
5+ years of experience in Commercial HVAC and Plumbing
Proficient with AutoCAD MEP and Revit
Advanced technical knowledge of HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing systems
Ability to size piping for hot water and chilled water piping systems
Strong understanding of plumbing systems for domestic water, waste/vent, storm drainage, and gas piping
Ability to size duct for low pressure, medium pressure, and supply/exhaust systems
