What We Are Looking For:

The Housekeeping Supervisor provides leadership and guidance to the housekeeping staff for the overall successful day-to-day operation of the Housekeeping Department. The Housekeeping Supervisor provides a strong focus on product quality, as well as safety. They motivate and train staff to provide the most exceptional guest service as well as maintain the AAA Four Diamond standards.

The Housekeeping Supervisor shall strive to provide exceptional service to both internal and external guests at all times. They will be responsible for exemplifying the Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa Culture as well as promoting our hotel values of Honesty, Enthusiasm, Integrity, Accountability and Passion for Service.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Assists the Director of Housekeeping in overseeing and managing the housekeeping department
Performs room inspections daily, ensuring high standards of cleanliness.
Responsible for maintaining housekeeping key control
Learns and maintains an awareness of all safety and emergency procedures, and their role in assisting during critical times
Ensures all housekeeping equipment is in proper working order
Operates department pursuant of OSHA requirements and guidelines; trains staff on OSHA regulations
Assists with the orientation and ongoing training and development of new housekeeping team members
Provides prompt follow-up and resolution to all guest concerns
Assists with the proper scheduling of the housekeeping team; schedules daily housekeeping assignments and distributes at morning meetings
