Job Overview
As a condition of employment, Willow Valley Communities requires that all new hires are fully vaccinated for COVID-19 prior to their first day of employment.
We are seeking candidates, Housekeepers, who take pride in their cleaning! Willow Valley is known for their upscale, beautifully cared for campus and buildings. We are looking to hire Housekeepers to keep Willow Valley Communities looking beautiful each day for our Residents, team members and guests; including maid service for residents as needed.
Responsibilities:
Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies.
Examines rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management.
Attends periodic staff meetings with other Team Member to discuss company policies and Residents complaints, and to make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation.
Maid Service with the Residents (whatever Resident wants done).
Housecleaning of resident's rooms and public areas.
Clean in all units and the common areas (lights, mirrors, chandeliers, woodwork, dust, vacuum halls, elevators, storage rooms, entrance door windows, laundry rooms, vacuum dining room carpet).
Clean all restrooms.
Empty trash cans from office - dust all furniture.
Clean stairways and stairway halls.
Dust ceilings for cobwebs.
Clean inside windows of halls and stairways as needed.
Linen exchanges.
Clean model apartment.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
On-the-job training
Cleaning experience in a business setting and/or private housecleaning (other than your own) a plus
Hours Per Week:
37.5hrs-40hrs
Schedule:
7:00am-3:30pm typically, Monday-Friday
4-10 hours also available
Every other weekend
Every other holiday
