2 years Acute Care Hospital Experience is REQUIRED! RELOCATION assistance & temp housing provided for this position!

This Acute Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Manager/Director oversees operations of the facilities/maintenance department on behalf of Vanguard Resources, to ensure alignment of mission, values, and objectives of the organization. The Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Manager/Director will also serve as the site's Safety Officer.
- SHARED SCOPE - VRI provides the Leadership, Technical expertise & Regulatory Compliance oversight of the maintenance dept and staff (staff provided by the Hospital) - no recruiting/hiring of staff, etc.!!!!

JOB SUMMARY: The Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Manager/Director develops, implements, and aligns operational goals to the strategic direction of the organization as well as the Client strategic plans. The Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Manager/Director ensures safe and efficient operations in compliance with applicable regulatory and safety guidelines while maintaining an impeccable commitment to excellence. The Healthcare Facilities Maintenance Manager/Director exemplifies and drives a customer centric philosophy that highlights both internal and external relationships; identifies customer needs/expectations and strives to exceed them with efficient, safe and compliant operations.
Duties may include, but not limited to, the following:
Plans organizes, directs, oversees, and controls the activities of the Facilities Maintenance Department to ensure services repair and maintenance necessary to provide the safe and efficient operation of the hospital and Vanguard Resources
Maintain a comfortable physical environment for patient, employees, medical staff and their public, in accordance with policies, procedures, standards and practices set by the Hospital, the Texas Department of Health, the Joint Commission and other local community and governmental agencies
Supports customer-first initiatives
Will facilitate the mission, vision, and value statements of the facility, and Vanguard Resources
Will effectively performs the leadership, managerial, environment of care/infection control, quality improvement and departmental responsibilities, supporting both the hospital and Vanguard Resources.
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications - Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
License/Certification:
Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) preferred not required
