Job Overview

MUST RESIDE WITHIN A 20 MILE RADIUS OF SEATTLE, WASHINGTON
SCHEDULE: MONDAY-FRIDAY 7A-3:30P

Position Purpose:

Responsible for the repair and maintenance of machines in the rental fleet, including earth-moving, aerial, landscaping, and material handling equipment. Work ranges in scope from general repairs and maintenance, up to more complex repairs on hydraulic and electrical systems and diesel engines.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
10% Administrative Work - Documents all work performed on tablet technology, including completion of work orders to capture parts usage and labor, performing parts inventory counts, etc.

40% Perform Advance Troubleshooting and Repairs - Performs advanced electrical system troubleshooting and repairs; Performs advanced hydraulic system troubleshooting and repairs; Performs diesel engine troubleshooting and repairs; Performs troubleshooting and repairs on small engines, including fuel systems, oil and air filtration systems, ignition systems, etc.; Performs maintenance and repairs on trailers; Makes welding repairs to equipment and trailers

30% Perform Inspections and Audits - Performs aerial lift inspections according to required checklist; Documents all work performed on tablet technology, including completion of work orders to capture parts usage and labor, performing parts inventory counts, etc.; Checks GPS units on equipment and ensures they are activated and properly checking in, and troubleshoots with IT team as needed

20% Safety - Follows shop safety protocol, including proper storage of supplies and fuel, proper disposal of waste oils and fluids, and proper lifting and moving of materials and equipment; Safely operates forklift to load, unload, and move equipment and materials in the shop and yard
