Job Summary:

We are looking for production-oriented team players to safely operate equipment while working around ground crews and other construction operations. This is outside work in all types of environments, weather condition, and all season. Due to the nature of the position, regular and timely attendance is essential and must conform to the company's hours and operations.

Duties:

Ability to operate dozers, excavators, front-end loaders, articulating trucks, and scrapers

Uses excavating machinery to dig holes and trenches used in structural concrete

Transports tools and other construction equipment to and from construction sites

Inspects and fuels vehicle prior to beginning shift

Performs routine maintenance and repairs

Prepares construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation

Requirements:

Valid Drivers License

Operate equipment effectively and within the equipment's operating capabilities to ensure deadlines of job are met

Ensure equipment is properly shut down and stored secure at the end of the shift

Must possess knowledge of equipment and workplace safety

Always adhere to corporate safety policies and procedures

Construction background required, prefer heavy/highway construction experience

Must be able to operate machinery in all weather condition and terrains

Requires time spent walking, standing, bending, lifting, and sitting

Ability to work a flexible work schedule including overtime and weekends

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $32.00 per hour
