Overview - The person in this position is responsible for maintaining and repairing, with privately owned hand tools and some company provided tools any and all the company's equipment and assets.

Job Duties:

Perform repairs and diagnostics of all systems on Heavy Equipment and Trucks.

Keep equipment up to OSHA standards.

Troubleshooting and repairs of low voltage electrical systems and Hydraulic systems. Understanding Schematics

Change tires, brakes and drive train components

Maintain accurate written logs and records of all time and materials used to repair the equipment.

Perform preventive maintenance of all equipment

Perform some building and facility maintenance repairs when needed

Knowledge and skills required to perform duties:

Must be able to operate forklifts, cranes, loaders, skid steers in a safe manner.

Team player

• Must have valid driver's license and good driving record.

• Some experience in Welding and Fabrication is a plus

Requirements

1. 3 or more years of Heavy Equipment Mechanic experience.

2. 3 or more years of Heavy Equipment Operation experience.
