Job Description:
Connors Transfer is hiring a full-time licensed and red sealed heavy-duty mechanic for our Stellarton, NS location. We offer a competitive compensation package with full benefits (Health and Dental) as well as a company pension plan.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Preventative maintenance.
Truck and trailer repairs.
Heavy duty equipment service and repair.
Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work area.
Other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Trade Certificate preferred
Journeyman Certification preferred, but not required.
2-5 years related experience desired.
Valid drivers license.
Exposure to working on diesel engines.
Basic problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to read and understand parts and services manuals in English.
General Knowledge of truck software and computer diagnostics.
Knowledge of Health and Safety rules and regulations guidelines.
