Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist skilled workers as assigned. This may include jobs such as demolition, carrying equipment, or construction materials.
Unload materials and distributes them to appropriate location as identified by supervisor, project plans, or specifications.
Prepare layout area where work will take place by properly measuring, marking, or recording openings or distances.
Prepare tools and materials for skilled workers.
Digging trenches; cleaning up rubble, debris, and trash; or removing materials.
Operate a wide variety of hand and power tools.
Direct traffic near, in, or around work zones (flagging).
Properly completes daily paperwork.
Motion equipment operator to assist with alignment, movement, or adjustment of machinery, equipment, or materials.
Clean jobsite at the end of the day, ensuring trash is properly disposed of and materials or equipment are properly stored.
Assist team with proper equipment care.
Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Experience & Attributes:

Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
Ability to remain flexible as assignments change.
Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
Ability to perform basic arithmetic as needed to count, measure, take inventory, and other similar tasks.
Must be able to travel out of town for the day or week.
Must have physical strength, balance, hand-eye coordination, and stamina necessary to complete jobs in various areas.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
Must be able to work in all weather conditions.
Must be able to stand, walk and climb inclines for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to work some weekends and/or nights, when needed.
Education
Prior job experience preferred but not required
Valid state driver s license
Ability to participate in regulatory trainings (First Aid/CPR, OSHA 10, Flagging)
