What You Will Be Doing
- Projects will be heavily focused on reclamation, pipelines, excavation, structural concrete, and roads. Responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):
- Reporting directly to Senior PM's
- Preparing project submittals
- Monitoring project progress to ensure adherence to schedule and budget
- Identifying and reporting any potential issues to Senior PM's
- Assisting with the procurement or rental of equipment and materials
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with local subcontractors
- Identifying new bid opportunities
- Assisting with RFI's, material take-offs, and change orders
- Attending safety meetings
- Traveling to project sites as necessary
2+ years of heavy civil construction experience and:
- Bachelors Degree (Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or similar)
- Prior experience representing a self-performing contractor
- Ability to interpret plans/specs
- Prior experience assisting with RFI's and change orders
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Project, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent deadline management
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
- OSHA 30
- Prior experience with surveying is a PLUS
- Prior experience with Primavera P6, HCSS, Agtek, and/or Civil 3D is a PLUS
- Salary 75-110k (depends on experience)
