Heat Treat & Blast Operator Performs general duties associated with various heat treat process. Operates and maintains control of ovens, furnaces, and local heat treat equipment.
As Heat treat and blast operator, you will be responsible for:
Performing grit blasting of parts of various sizes and general duties in other areas of the plant as required.
Interpreting and following through on work orders following various safe work procedures.
Repairing equipment as required and performs preventive maintenance on a scheduled basis.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have the ability to read and interpret routine instructions
Be certified and independently operate equipment including forklifts, manlifts, cranes, etc.
Good mechanical aptitude, including developing skills in use of general hand tools and precision measuring equipment
Perform quality assurance activities as required by manufacturing/engineering specifications and ISO requirements
Basic computer skills to complete online data forms, log labor times, complete online training, access email, and other company resources.
Becomes aware of all safety hazards and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Maintains department records and a clean work area.
Be Flexible to adjust work schedule times to align with heat treat timelines
