As a Healthcare Customer Service Representative at Medical West, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of our patients and referrals, by processing medical equipment orders in a timely and effective manner. The CSR will work in an in-office setting with other team members, completing a variety of tasks including but not limited to insurance verification, data entry, answering incoming calls, processing orders, requesting & reviewing medical records and greeting customers/patients upon walk-in. This role is rewarding and you will leave each day knowing that you've helped others. We're looking for a candidate with strong Customer Service skills and that will treat our patients like they are family!

Job Responsibilities
Order Intake including obtaining patient demographic & insurance information, as well as equipment order details
Data Entry in variety of EMR's
Insurance Verification and Obtaining Prior Authorizations
Medical Record review and communication with medical professionals regarding & requesting patient health information
Incoming & Outgoing calls with our patients & referrals - scheduling appointments, answering equipment questions and discussing order details
Order processing - adding line item details to each patient order and prepare for delivery
Meet the needs of local physicians & referral sources
Schedule appointments & call reminders for upcoming appointments
Greet customers upon walk-in

Represent Medical West through professional personal appearance and patient care
Compliant with all company policies & procedures
Office/computer experience
Basic medical terminology _preferred_, but not required
Insurance knowledge _preferred_, but not required
