Job Summary:

The Guest Service Assistant Manager is part of the Guest Service Department and is responsible for facilitating extraordinary guest service, guest recovery, lift experiences and assist scanning operations.

Job Specifications:

  • Starting Wage: $47,500 - $52,000
  • Schedule & Availability: Full Time/Winter Seasonal
  • Outlet: Beaver Creek

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the chairlift wait experience, monitor guest wait time in lines and expedite as needed
  • Manage daily operations and revenue within the overnight ski check and Guest Information Center
  • Oversight of the Employee Center
  • Hire, train and motivate high performing guest service focused staff
  • Build relationships with other entities to enhance the guest experience
  • Ability to resolve guest and/or product issues in an expedient manner, de-fuse upset guests, and deliver exceptional service
  • Create a fun and professional work experience while communicating in a courteous and respectful manner
  • Adhere to labor and operating budget, including revenue budgets
  • Work on a computer/RPOS with a high degree of accuracy and efficient speed
  • Establish personal strengths and opportunities through self-assessment and ongoing feedback from management team; participate in prescribed training throughout season.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent - required
  • College Degree - preferred
  • Prior guest service experience, Prior cash handling or sales experience - required
  • Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English - required
  • Proficient on Microsoft applications and POS software - required
  • Ability to answer questions and speak intelligently about all resort products - required
  • Skiing or riding ability at Level 7 (Strong Intermediate) - required
  • Ability to stay calm in busy and stressful situations - require
  • previous lift or scanning experience preferred

The budgeted range starts at $47,500 - $52,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.
