An Additive Manufacturing company is looking for a Graduate Applications Engineer to assist with marketing and sales activities as well as provide support in the company's Additive Manufacturing product line.


Job Description:

  • Assist in both the sales, marketing, and engineering activities by leveraging expertise in 3D CAD, and AM print preparation software with the use of the company's Metal AM machines
  • The ability to assist the regional marketing efforts with the concept of case study materials.
  • Provide support to new customer adoption of metal AM technology by delivering advice on product design, key operating metrics, and process parameters.
  • Assist the customers in troubleshooting related issues or process-related errors.
  • Frequently manage additive manufacturing machines in the company's AM Solutions Center as well as frequently operate post-processing equipment
  • The ability to develop and conduct basic experiments on process capability
  • Represent the company in tradeshows and assist them with any marketing personnel
  • The ability to provide training across the company's AM hardware and software product portfolio both on and off-site
  • The ability to travel at 60%


Qualifications and experience:

  • Diploma or Associates Degree in an electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering-related
  • The capability to determine competence with fundamental engineering-related mathematical operations e.g., algebra and trigonometry
  • 3 years of work experience in a technical role
  • Certification of ability using 3D printed technology and manufacturing technology
  • Diploma or Associate's Degree in an electrical, mechanical, or chemical engineering-related field
  • Ability to demonstrate competence with fundamental engineering-related mathematical
  • A level of understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
