Basic FunctionTechnology has been described as the next chapter within the construction industry with adaption growing exponentially year over year driven by continued leaps in customer efficacy. We are looking to add to our growing team of technology industry experts an individual to help provide support of both John Deere SmartGrade and Topcon machine control solutions. This individual will provide first level support for both internal and external users and work hand-in-hand with service/support functions of the JESCO business.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide direct initial support of both internal and external inbound communication relating to machine control support needs and questions.
• Log communications (internal and external) and support to help identify potential persistent issues that either need to be communicated to our factory partners or provide further training opportunities.
• Prepare machine control units and verify operation in house prior to being sent to the field.
• Willingness to participate in continuous learning opportunities including but not limited to travel within the territory as well as attendance at both manufacturer and internal training to continue to build machine control knowledge
• Make recommendations to dealer leadership for future technology support or training opportunities.
• Presenting a professional image of JESCO when working with customers
• Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and customer service. Perform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.

Requirements

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong customer relationship skills
• Strong computer and phone skills
• Industry experience in a related field preferred
• Candidates should be able to walk on uneven surfaces and terrain, work in construction site environments to meet with customers on jobsites
• Ability to lift up to 25Lbs as required
• Ability to travel occasionally to other JESCO locations and training opportunities. Some limited travel may require air and/or overnight
