Job Overview
Bear Creek Golf Complex is a 36 hole "inland links" golf facility, consisting of 2 courses. Both golf courses and the practice area were created by the Nicklaus Design Group & Architect Bill O'Leary, opening for play in January 2000. Bear Creek Golf Complex is part of the KemperSports Management Group.
Bear Creek Golf Complex is looking to fill a few Golf Course Maintenance Worker positions to include: Greenskeepers, Operators, and Landscapers.
- The individual should be able to perform semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work and related tasks in a safe manner.
- Performs general landscape maintenance using handheld equipment.
- Rakes and maintains sand bunkers.
- Operates small machinery to assist with edging, trimming and mowing. Involved with tasks related to course detail (weed and debris clean up).
- Operate equipment: mowing greens, collars, fairways, tees & roughs.
- Assists with golf course set-up procedures.
- Operates utility vehicles for hauling material and removing debris.
- Operates equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas.
- Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the Golf Course Superintendent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
