The General Motors Automotive Service Educational Program (ASEP) delivers advanced and customized automotive service training focused on engineering, technical training, problem-solving, digital prowess, and critical thinking. GM ASEP helps streamline the path to becoming a highly trained automotive technician to as little as 2 years with hands-on access to the latest GM vehicle technology.

Responsibilities - GM Service Tech:
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
All warranty work by the manufacturer
Performing work with efficiency and accordance with OEM policy
Documenting work performed on repair order
Quality Control
100% Fixed Right First Time
Test drive vehicle
Effective communication with Service Advisor
Maintain and expand technical expertise by continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology
Keeping your shop area neat and clean and keeping track of dealership tools at all times
Ensuring that customer vehicles are kept clean
Requirements - GM Service Tech:
GM factory training & brand certified by manufacturer - (we will help you get certified).
Previous GM Technician experience required
Maryland State Inspector's license is a plus!
A high degree of integrity and trustworthiness and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Solid organizational skills and a high degree of attention to detail.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as strong customer service abilities.
At least 18 years of age
Valid driver's license and deliver a good driving record.
High school diploma OR GED, preferred
