Is your background a fit? Apply if you meet this criterion

• BS/MS in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
• EIT or PE License Desired, Not Required
• 5+ years of Geotechnical Engineering & Design experience.
• Successful candidate will have experience leading and delivering Dam Projects.
• Dam design or construction experience and/or Dam Assessments or Dam Breach Modeling experience.

Duties

• Responsibilities include performing structural and geotechnical design calculations, laboratory testing, research activities, and numerical modeling.
• Relevant experience includes, but is not limited to, performing site and subsurface geotechnical investigations, geotechnical engineering designs and

specifications, and preparing geotechnical calculations and studies for power plants, infrastructure, industrial process facilities or complex building systems.

• Knowledge of site and subsurface investigation, development of engineering properties of soil and rock, foundation design and analysis, foundation analysis

under dynamic loads and earthworks.

• Knowledge of pile installation and testing, numerical analysis using FEM and FDM, soil and/or rock slope stability and construction specifications.
• Prepare geotechnical project work scopes, budgets, and proposals.
• Plan and coordinate field exploration programs including site reconnaissance.
• Perform soil and rock classification
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards, including those related to the nuclear industry.
• Legal right to work in the USA without sponsorship.
