External candidates are eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $3,000. The bonus will be paid out as a $1000 gross pay adjustment after one month of employment; the second installment of $1000 will be paid upon completion of six (6) months of employment; the third installment of $1,000 will be paid after one (1) year of employment of satisfactory service in Facilities Management. POSITION SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Director of Plant Facilities but following the specifically defined policies and procedures of CVMC, performs the duties and responsibilities of Facility Repair Specialist. The position requires a broad knowledge of skills in building trades requiring basic knowledge of other skilled areas including electrical, plumbing, boiler operations, and mechanics
BASIC KNOWLEDGE
Requires the performance of technical skills in building trades familiar with a broad range of methods and techniques. These skills are normally acquired through vocational training.
EXPERIENCE
Minimum qualifying level of proficiency is 3-5 years of experience building trades and repairs.
