Dana Canada Corporation, a subsidiary of Dana Incorporated Headquartered in Maumee, Ohio manufactures oil, water charged battery for the automotive industry, with 5 locations in Ontario.
The idea candidate will have a high school diploma, or equivalent, have some previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment, and be able to make Safety and Quality their number one priority. They have good attentions to detail, good visual acuity and inspection skills, and work well in a close team environment.
_Hours of Work: 2:50pm to 11:20pm_
The position will require the ideal candidate to work in the following conditions:
- Job Duties that require standing, walking and reaching
- Exposure to a hot environment during warm weather
- Repetition of tasks and duties
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand work
- Lifting between 5-15 lbs, sometimes continuously
- Working safely at all times and within customer quality specifications
_Wags increases occur at regular intervals until the current top rate is reached. There is a shift premium on afternoons shift._
Shifts are non-rotating and are 8 hours with paid lunches and breaks.
Dana Canada provides Medical (90% coverage), Dental, STD, AD&D and Life Insurance benefits, with the company paying 90% of the premium. Dana Canada, Oakville also provides a defined Contribution pension plan, with the company making contributions to the plan on behalf of the employee.

Pay Rate: $17 increases plus 0.45/ c shift premium after every 12 months after that until top rate is reached.
