Compensation: Entry level hourly wage starting at $18.00 per hour. Swing and graveyard shift employees will receive a shift differential of $1.50 per hour.
Shift: All new employees are required to train on day shift, Monday - Friday with possible overtime on Saturday. Upon completion of training, Day, Swing and Grave shifts will be assigned based on availability and current staffing needs.
Bonus: $500 retention bonus for new employees.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is helpful, but not required.
Prior experience operating mobile equipment including a forklift or combi is helpful, but not required.
Job Responsibilities:
Unhook extrusions as they come down the vertical paint line off-load table
Pair or group extrusions in preparation for packaging
Visually inspect extrusions for quality defects
Lift extrusions and move them from the off-load table to the bundle wrapping machine (individual pieces weigh up to 120 lbs and must be lifted in tandem with a coworker)
Roll protective foam between extrusions to prevent scratches during transit
Apply banding, batten wood, and bundle tags to wrapped bundles
Hooking extrusions to the vertical paint line
Lift extrusions and move them from the racks to the table
Working Conditions:
Indoors, outdoors, at heights, noisy environment, in all seasonal weather conditions
Ability to perform physical requirements of this position, including routinely lifting equipment weighing up to 50 lbs., standing and walking, climbing stairs and ladders, and kneeling or crouching
