Aries Engineering is looking for a General Laborer that will be involved in various manual tasks such as operating basic shop machinery, use of basic hand tools/measuring tools, and completing miscellaneous tasks such as painting and loading/unloading parts. The position must maintain a quality of work, focus, and attention to detail while ensuring productivity and safety when performing job duties.

Responsibilities:
Reviews and interprets written work instructions and prints
Responsible for operating basic shop machinery, use of hand tools/measuring tools, and the performing of miscellaneous tasks such as painting and loading/unloading of parts when needed.
Maintain and check all used equipment daily to ensure functionality, according to the maintenance schedule.
Work on what is priority dictated by job ship dates listed on the WIP (work in process) list.
Responsible for quality control of all completed tasks.
Record/Log any product non-conformance following guidelines.
Assists in keeping the workshop clean and orderly, following all company safety procedures. Cleaning duties assigned.

Qualifications:
Must be able to read a tape measure
Ability to perform basic shop math (ex. converting decimals to fractions
Ability to change basic fixtures and tooling
Ability to prioritize workload and available resources to meet deadlines
Ability to problem solve and communicate potential issues

Education:
High School Diploma/GED Equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
