Job Overview

The Gas Marketing Lead will manage all commercial services related to the flow of natural gas from the wellhead to pipelines downstream. Duties include:

Execute gas sales contracts with a goal of maximizing netbacks.
Negotiate and manage gas gathering, transportation, and related contracts.
Negotiate gas processing contracts as needed.
Supervise scheduling staff.
Work closely with Ops to prepare for upcoming downtime/maintenance.
Track and maintain pricing data.
Assist Accounting with invoice preparation and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Review invoices from transportation and service providers for accuracy.
Stay abreast of rate cases and other FERC filings impacting gas transportation.
Establish procedures for the team to maximize efficiencies and track business activity.
