Description:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop custom backend solutions utilizing Python and other OOP such as (C++, C#, Go) - Python is the only language required

• Develop and maintain SQL databases

• Responsible for creating/maintaining custom backend services to facilitate product connectivity.

• Configure and store device data for cloud based analytics.

• A commitment to rapid development and proof of concept designs.

• Convert (and Deploy) of prototype designs to volume production.

• Test and debug servers for robustness and general reliability.

• Maintain, build out new features, and iterate on existing features of current products.

• Work with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to deliver reliable Connected Products

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Have 1-2 years of experience developing backend infrastructure and writing software in Python. lambdas

• Be experienced in testing and scaling servers for large numbers of users (10K+).

• Be engineering diligent, accurate and detailed orientated.

• Be experienced with IoT and connected products.

• Be experienced with Amazon Web Services.- EC2/S3

• Be self-motivated and able to multi-task and communicate effectively with little supervision.

BONUS EXPERIENCE

• Have experience with push notification backend architectures.

• Have experience with Linux servers and open source technologies
