Position: Full-time Nanny/Family Assistant (Live-in or Live-out)
Location: Short Hills, NJ
Pay: Commensurate with Experience
Hours: M-F 730-530 or 730-730
Start Date: 12/1/22

Professional Short Hills family seeks an experienced and organized career-nanny to grow with their family for years to come.
Responsibilities include: All daily care tasks related to the children such as (1) creating an engaging, safe, and stimulating environment; (2) implementing educational play, encouraging imagination and creativity; (3) transportation to/from activities, school, appointments and play dates; (4) maintaining pre-determined schedule including nap and and feeding times; (5) healthy meal planning and prep (with parents); (6)childrens' laundry, maintaining inventory of childrens' supplies (e.g. diapers, wipes) & outgrown clothes; (7) keeping childrens' room & toys organized and tidy; (8) family laundry and lite housework such as running dishwasher, accepting packages and putting away groceries.
Schedule: M-F 730am-530pm minimum, ideally M-F 730am-730pm
Household Notes: family car provided for transportation of the children, family is open to live- in or live-out and has a separate basement accommodation available
Ideal candidate: the ideal candidate is trustworthy, communicative, hardworking, proactive, organized, and kind.
Compensation: family is offering competitive pay based on experience, 2 weeks vacation, sick days and federal holidays off
Requirements:
5+ years of childcare experience (including infant and toddler)
Eligible to work in the US
Reliable transportation
Clean driving record and criminal background
Fluent English
Spanish Speaking (Bonus)
CPR/First Aid Certified
Flu, Tdap, and Covid Vaccinations
