Reporting to the Regional Finance Leader, the FP&A Manager will be an integral contributor to the increased involvement of Finance in the region, assisting the Region's Finance Lead and team in the growth of the Region. This position offers the opportunity to work in a diverse number of areas including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, major capital expenditures, and strategic initiatives. Success will depend on strong analytical skills, effective communication, strong PC skills, resourcefulness and initiative. Opportunity to build team as region grows to anticipated levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly, quarterly and annual budget forecasts, including the understanding and challenging of underlying assumptions; will use results and forecast data to isolate risks and opportunities
• Work with region and HQ to expand financial models and analytical tools to ensure the delivery of accurate and timely analysis; utilize existing systems to compile consolidated forecasts (short and long range) and analyze historic results to determine detailed trends and business drivers
• Communication and understanding of the financial models and financial analysis to senior members of the organization and the Region President
• Prepare and analyze weekly Flash reports; continuously monitor the pulse of the business understanding the variances and the dynamic environment
• Support the Regional Controller in the monthly close by understanding, analyzing and communicating results of P&L statements and balance sheets
• Develop consistent monthly management review and analysis package; participate in management operating reviews
• Support resource management with analysis on price, productivity, cap ex and utilization
• Manipulation of raw data to draw conclusions about our business; presents findings and suggests improvement or course of action
• Ad hoc requirements on strategic initiatives, acquisitions, cash/earnings initiatives, etc.

Qualifications:

• BS/BA/MBA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Approx. 7+ years of experience in a Finance role, particularly Financial Planning and Analysis
• Must be team player. Must have a critical eye for process issues and be able to suggest change. Excellent written and verbal communication skills required. Outstanding quantitative and analytical aptitude a must.
• Should be expert in MS Excel, proficient with MS Access and MS PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Hyperion Planning, SQL and other OLAP reporting/budgeting tools, including data warehousing
• Ability to create excellent working relationships with senior management and improve continuity to a global organization, and work within a matrix organization
• Ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
• Open to possible travel (5%-10%)
