Randall is currently seeking Form Carpenters to work in the Shop & Yard at our Apopka, FL plant & headquarters.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
Fabricate Forms in the wood shop to be used in creating precast concrete products
Install Forms on the precast concrete beds to create precast concrete elements
Comprehend blueprint designs and other drawings
Ability to fabricate pieces within specified tolerances
Safe use of all necessary tools and equipment
Ensure that all manufacturing processes are in keeping with safety regulations
Supervise staff as required
Collaborate with other staff to coordinate timing and accuracy of form installation
Ensure that each project stays within the allocated budget and timeframe.
Providing input to the Foreman regarding scheduling issues.
Required Skills & Required Experience:
1-3 years related job experience
Physical stamina to work in extreme conditions
Must read a tape measure and perform basic math, including fractions
Safe operation of table saw and panel saw
Critical thinking with problem solving skills
Able to work independently or in team environment.
Efficiently organize and plan work tasks to meet project and company goals.
