Forklift Technician Trainee - Overnights
From $29 to $34 per hour
(This includes a $4 per hour shift differential while on 2nd Shift)

Hours: Train on 1st shift. Upon successful completion of the Forklift Technician Trainee position, the employee would transition into a 2nd shift Forklift Mechanic / Technician role.
Position Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance and technical service on automated equipment.
Assist with maintenance and support of warehouse vehicles.
Maintain conveyor equipment and monitor systems.
Complete preventive maintenance cycles and perform occasional repairs on a myriad of equipment.
Maintain multiple pieces of automated equipment independent of supervision and support.
Interact with all Maintenance, Warehouse Administrative, Facilities and Operations personnel on a daily basis.
Demonstrate application of maintenance skills within material handling equipment.
May travel between Distribution Center buildings
Work both independently and in a team setting.
May be required to assist mechanics and some automation operators.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required. Trade school or equivalent preferred.
Basic mechanical, electrical, parts management and computer skills a must.
