We are looking for a Fleet Mechanic to provide fleet maintenance. Our team prides itself on our level of commitment to safety and customer service. In this role, the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards, run diagnostics on vehicles and use smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs. What are the Duties?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repairs and maintains customer vehicles such as Class 8 Trucks, diesel and gas, and mechanical equipment such as Fork Lifts by performing the following duties:
Perform PMI's on tractors, trailers and other diesel powered equipment.
Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs.
Test drive all types of vehicles.
Assist other technicians
PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs.
Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Valid Driver's License
Prefer Valid CDL or must be able to obtain CDL within 90 days
ASE Certifications preferred
