What are the duties?
Fleet Mechanic / Truck Technician ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Repairs and Maintains Customer Light to Medium Duty Vehicles in a Dedicated Shop
Use of Smartphone, Laptop, and Tablet Technology to Record all Repairs
Automotive and Diesel Repair
Must be able to Work Independently
Standard Tech Owned Tools Required
Major Shop Tools and Diagnostic Equipment is Provided
PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs.
Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Automotive and/or Diesel Repair Experience Required
Preferred- One year certificate from college or technical school, with related repair experience OR equivalent combination of training and experience.
CERTIFICATES and LICENSES
Valid Driver's License
CDL a plus or ability to acquire CDL
ASE certifications are a plus
