L. Pugh & Associates (a Fire Safety & Protection LLC company) is currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking a Fire Sprinkler Helper to join our team located in Pensacola, FL. This is an entry level position, but experience in pipe fitting or fire sprinklers is preferred.
L Pugh has been in business over 40 years. We are planning on growing and expanding our services and we're looking for a Fitter who has the experience, knowledge, and motivation to grow with us.
Our Vision: To set the bar in providing state of the art fire protection systems while maintaining our superior reputation recognizing our work and commitment never truly ends. We are looking to add a Fire Sprinkler Helper to our growing inspections testing and maintenance team.
Job Requirements
The basic function of the Fire Sprinkler Helper will be to work with and learn from the Fire Sprinkler Fitter on the installation and service of fire suppression and maintenance of safety systems. Our ideal candidate will have a strong desire to learn and grow, be customer and safety focused, and be able to work diligently as part of a team.
Responsibilities
The duties and responsibilities of the Fire Sprinkler Helper include, but are not limited to:
Assist Fitter on install and service jobs, traveling to job sites as required by the specific assignment.
Interact with customers on a daily basis
Follow safety rules and requirements
Other duties as may be required
Requirements
Minimum 0-1 year of experience.
Excellent administrative, organizational and computer skills.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Ability to adapt to changing needs and provide excellent customer service.
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Ability to transport equipment and tools weighing up to 70 lbs.
