All-Star Fire, LLC, a Georgia Company since 2010, is in the business of the complete design, fabrication, installation, inspection, maintenance and service of automatic fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems. We are currently experiencing rapid growth and we are seeking Fire Alarm Technicians for all levels for our location in Norcross, GA.
The basic function of the Fire Alarm Technician will be to coordinate with the Fire Alarm Manager ensuring tools and material necessary for the successful completion of an assigned project and that the installation is of the highest quality and ensuring the customer is properly served. Our ideal candidate will be customer focused with an excellent safety record and be able to work diligently as part of a team or independently.
The duties and responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Technician include, but are not limited to:
Assure quality and safety controls/practices that result in a safe work environment and projects that are superior in the quality of installation with zero time loss due to accidents.
Responsible for the care and use of all company issued vehicles, equipment and tools protecting the property from deterioration, damage, theft and see that the property is kept clean and properly maintained.
Assure all necessary materials, tools and equipment for the assigned project/s are requested with a minimum (2) day notice to the Labor Supervisor, Project Manager and Fabrication Manager.
Coordinate with the Labor Supervisor/Project Foreman on the most efficient and cost effective means of production possible for assigned and special projects.
Other duties as may be required.
Requirements:
3 years' experience as a fire alarm technician
NICET II or III certification strongly preferred
Installation, inspection, testing, service, troubleshooting and programming various Fire Alarm Systems including: Silent Knight, Simplex, Notifier, EST, Fire Lite, etc. are all requirements of this position.
