Reporting to the General Manager of Jacksonville operations, the Field Supervisor is responsible for the coordination and on-site supervision of painting, maintenance, renovation, and other construction service-related projects as assigned. From first contact to the satisfactory completion of work, the Field Supervisor oversees a contractor base of painters, maintenance providers, and other specialty contractors to complete assigned scopes of work in the defined timeframe, budget, and quality standards. Responsibilities include scheduling and coordinating labor and materials, ensuring the quality of work and safety of workers, providing updates on projects, gaining approvals for changes, and certifying the completion of work while meeting the requirements of the client, project scope and budget.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000

Responsibilities & Impact:

Act as a main point of contact for customers, contractors, and office staff for ongoing projects.
Review onsite conditions, complete walkthrough with customer representative (Property Manager, Maintenance Supervisor or other) on expectations and project needs.
Work with the General Manager to develop project estimates and proposals.
Determine necessary steps to start job production while additional resources are being deployed.
Obtain approval for all scope and/or material changes with the client and management.
Manage the execution of change orders and communication of changes to all stakeholders
Build mutually beneficial relationships with subcontractors and suppliers
Direct all field personnel and ensure quality of workmanship to complete projects per the approved scope of work, on time and within budget.
Inspect all jobs on a weekly basis or as needed for quality control, safety, and compliance with applicable rules, laws, and statutes
Schedule inspections with the customer or management as needed
Track projects' status, complete paperwork, update database, and upload documents
Certify completion of work and partner with the office to update system for final invoicing
Manage the customer experience through the proper setting and monitoring of expectations

Special conditions of employment:

Valid driver license and good driving record
Ability to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with company policy
Ability to work outdoors
Flexibility to be on call during irregular hours depending on business needs
Ability to lift 50 LBS and occasionally climb ladders, stoop, bend, kneel, and work in extreme hot, cold and humid conditions

Requirements:

Minimum 1-3 years' experience in onsite maintenance or construction services
Multi-location management of dispersed workforce
Customer service, and prior people management experience
Experience / understanding of painting, maintenance, and apartment renovations.
Ability to utilize technology for documentation
Excellent problem solving, leadership, communication, interpersonal, organization, scheduling, and planning skills
