Overview

The Field Trainer is an insanely committed individual whose simple vision is to make every Technician in the field smarter, stronger and faster. The Field Trainer is a key partner for helping Technicians to both keep Our Promise and to keep the TRUST with our customers. They will work to lay the foundation for excellence across the entire Field Services Team in Sleep, Safety, Service and SOP. The Field Trainer is the passionate keeper of standards and service for our Customers and our Technicians. They are evangelists of Sleep Number and of Field Services.

Responsibilities

• Field Technician and must meet those minimum requirements
• Primary new hire trainer for all technicians in sleep, safety, service and standard operating procedures
• Trains all technicians in new products and new services
• A trusted source for all technicians in the field on all topics relating to sleep, safety, service and standard operating procedures.

Qualifications/Requirements

• 1+ year of experience as a Field Technician
• Meet/exceed the current home delivery minimum standards in both Net Promoter Score and Delivery Attributes
• Able to lead through example
• Passionate storyteller and gifted communicator
• Ability to laugh and keep themselves and other positive
• Action orientated, can-do attitude and problem solver
• Technology geek at heart
• Ability to reduce complex concepts into simple action steps
• Insane commitment to every technician that they meet
• Non-stop learner
• Be able to teach class with 15-minute notice or less
• Travel to remote Techs to teach
• Will have to teach and via telephone/email/text/in person in hubs/homes/spokes and trucks
