Our client is a large privately held U.S.-based manufacturing firm with nationwide operations. A leader in their industry with over 3,000 employees, they service a global customer base with products that impact lives everyday.

They are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer. The Field Service Engineer is responsible for the trajectory of their cutting-edge commercial heat pump water heating products utilizing customer service and technical expertise.

Additional responsibilities include:

• Provide technical support to internal and external customers including factory startups, installation, testing, and product/equipment maintenance
• Becoming the SME in low GWP heat pump water heating products and work with product engineering to identify critical features and functions
• Train and support contractors, wholesale distributors, and manufacturer representatives on heat pump water heater technology
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve technical issues that arise during critical equipment installations
• Gather customer usability feedback for product engineering on product features that will help meet customer needs and/or wants

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or other related discipline preferred
• 7+ years of experience in HVAC and/or refrigeration
• Experience in engineering and/or product management
• Involvement in indirect sales and channel management preferred (Ex. buy/sell, wholesaler, OEM)
• Schedule flexibility to allow for frequent overnight travel 70%
• Proficient with verbal and written communication
• Competent with Microsoft Office programs
