Launch is looking for a Field Service Technician to provide support for our client in the City of Sacramento. Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Monitor Security, Backup, and Redundancy Strategies.
• Maintain an Inventory Install, Configure, Test, and Maintain Operating Systems, Application Software, Sys Mgmt Tools
• Be able to address connection issues with end users and stakeholders
• Participate in Coordination meetings between Teams: Testing, Systems Development, Stake Holder, and Customer
• Proactively ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability.
• Review application logs for application performance and check for potential bottlenecks, identify possible resolution steps and work with developers to implement these fixes
• Maintain Security, Backup, and Redundancy Strategies.
• Maintain updates on reports that cover project status, activities, and achievements.
• Assist in the Preparation of Materials for Communicating with stakeholders, and presenting explanations suited to the proper level of the audience.
• Monitor all installed systems and infrastructure.
• Update an Inventory as required.
• Maintain Operating Systems, Application Software, and System Management Tools
• Study application logs for application performance and check for potential bottlenecks, identify resolution steps by researching KBs and work with developers to implement these fixes

Required Experience/Qualifications

• 2 - 3 years of relevant experience
• Oversee the availability of technical resources
• Formulate and design the security system to maintain data safety
• Be able to implement a backup of data, VM, Server, or other resources
• Establish, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools.
• May require routine onsite visits to client
• Strong Customer Service Skills, O365 Administration & Support
• Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to IT Support Staff
• Be able to maintain an inventory
• Work effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
• Be able to prioritize and ensure a rapid effective response to technical issues
• Provide prompt and audience-appropriate communication to stakeholders, and present explanations suited to the proper level of audience
• Working with project tracking tools and ticketing systems, such as Azure DevOps (ADO) or JIRA
• Demonstrate Some Mastery of diagramming tools such as Visio or Cad Program
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Follow Guidance on Group's systems engineering methodology is being practiced

Preferred Qualifications

• Cloud Experience, especially in AWS, Azure
• Experience with Virtualization (eg VMWare, GSX-HyberV or Virtual Box, Citrix) Network
• Experience TCP/IP v4 and v6 Office, Share Point, or Other Applications

Education And Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, or another technical or quantitative field, or a related field.
• Certifications are optional, but those that are relevant include: AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals AWS Fundamentals Migrating to the Cloud Power Shell Essentials Office 365 SQL Administration

Compensation And Benefits

• Anticipated Wage Range: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 - Education and experience will be taken into account, and we are happy to discuss your wage expectations.
