Modis Engineering is recruiting for a Field Support Representative based out of the Mississippi area in the medical device industry. This is an contract position with a pay rate of $28.00 an hour.

Fulltime benefits, medical, dental, vision, 401K and PTO.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning, coordinating and conducting the implementation of service products.
• Software changes to infusion and monitoring devices
• Ensure accuracy and completion of new product installations
• Conduct hands-on Skills Lab for Biomedical Professionals
• Minor repairs at customer locations
• 100% travel M-TH, home every Friday
• Most reside within 45 minutes of an International Airport

Educational Qualifications & Previous Experience

• Bachelors or Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years experience performing installations of medical equipment and software applications, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1-2 years experience leading a team

Professional Skills & Key Competencies

• Ability to lead teams of up to 12 (temporary, or third-party suppliers)
• Ability to effectively communicate with and present information to customers.
• Ability to learn and understand detailed product knowledge of medical devices, software, and basic networking
• Ability to instruct detailed product knowledge of medical devices, software, and basic networking
• Ability to perform moderately complex hardware and software troubleshooting
• Possesses strong time management skills; works effectively without direct supervision
• Ability to push/pull/lift 40 lbs.

Desired / Additional Skills & Knowledge

• Background in field service of medical devices desired.
