Job Overview
Field Metrologist - HPLC LCMS MS - Mountain View, CA
Install High Performance Liquid Chromatographs and Liquid Chromatography Mass Spectrometers including electrical and liquid interconnections and ensuring instrument functionality in Clinical, Hospital, Research, Reference, Toxicology and Pain Management Laboratory settings.
Maintain service contract accounts and conduct preventative maintenance.
Provide estimates to customers for onsite repair of instrumentation not covered by service contracts.
Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation.
Maintain service records relative to each system and service call.
Maintain tools, parts, diagnostic hardware, and software inventory.
Support sales teams with presentations or product demonstrations.
