PURPOSE

As a Customer Service Specialist at Central Valley Ag, you will be primarily responsible for performing accounting & invoice data entry, answering phones, filing documents,providing high level customer support and for providing the customer with knowledge of our products and services.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs daily billing of feed products and services.
• Send daily invoicing to customers via email or fax.
• Handle incoming calls, customers and mail.
• Able to take feed orders from customers and communicate them to feed processors.
• Prepares weekly and monthly management reports as directed.
• Performs inventory tracking, reconciliations and monitors inventory controls.
• Records transactions accurately and keep clients informed about transactions.
• Aid in customers of delinquent accounts.
• Provides customer service in a timely manner via telephone, email or face to face interaction.
• Files applicable regulatory reports as required by state and federal governmental agencies.
• Ensure customer complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
• Schedules/dispatches feed delivery drivers to appropriate locations, according to customer requests, specifications or needs using Qualcomm, radios or telephones.
• Acts as a liaison between customers and management in order to enhance the overall customer experience.
• Comply with current Central Valley Ag credit policies.
• Maintains and promotes a safe work environment.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• High School graduate or GED.
• Ability to communicate in a professional manner and establish effective working relationships with internal operations and external customers.
• To consistently meet internal and external deadlines.
• Ability to learn our accounting software, Merchant Ag.
• Employ fundamental accounting skills: general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and account reconciliations.
• Strong competencies in computer applications including Microsoft products.
• Follows through with commitments and can be counted on tomeet deadlines
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Actively looks for ways to help customers.
• Completes work in a timely manner with a high level of accuracy.
• Works in a way that demonstrates safety is a priority. Promotes a work environment that is safe for everyone.
