Revolution is now hiring an FDA Compliance Engineer. This role will be working in both Stuttgart, AR and Little Rock, AR. - Communicate externally with certifying agencies and internally with other departments to prepare appropriate documents necessary for obtaining the required certification.
- Support all company departments in compliance with product certification requirements.
- Keep track of all company certifications, making sure all certificates stay up to date & current.
- Maintain & regularly update a list of the department's certification projects.
- Ensure proper data collection, analysis, and organization for certification projects.
- Prepare clear and neat packages containing the appropriate data, descriptions, reports, drawings, charts, graphs, and other visual aids for submittals to certifying agencies for obtaining the desired certifications.
- Preparation of samples as requested by certifying agencies.
- Assist appropriate company departments in ensuring all product & literature markings comply with all certification regulations.
- Obtaining current FDA requirements.
- Support product labeling specifications, locations, and testing
- Review product and manufacturing changes for compliance with applicable regulations and verify testing reports for completeness and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 3+ years of direct engineering experience.
- Extensive 3+ years of experience with compliance engineering, including experience with FDA Regulations.
- Plastic resin and related product experience preferred
- Food contact operations experience - implementation of HACCP is a benefit
- Knowledge of:
- material regulations such as TSCA, REACH.
- Good manufacturing practices, ISO standards, and certification processes.
- Dietary laws.
- Hazard information reporting - such as Prop 65 and Toxics in Packaging Clearinghouse (known by CONEG).
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, ability to work independently or in teams.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-critical dynamic environment.
- Collaborate with teams to resolve compliance issues.
