A DAY IN THE LIFE:

The Facilities Technician II maintains and repairs the facilitys structure, equipment and grounds, including plumbing, electrical and HVAC. They also perform "handyman" duties, such as light carpentry, painting, small repair of structures (walls, roofs, or office fixtures), and appliances/equipment maintenance.

YOURE AWESOME AT:

Understanding of Plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and EMS requirements.

Strong knowledge in hand and power tools.

Able to effectively share information and ideas within and outside of department in written or verbal form; able to put forth own ideas and gain understanding from others.

Proficient at supporting effective interactions between team members and among cross-functional teams.

Microsoft basic computer skills.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

AA degree or a combination of GED and applicable job experience.

2 years of related facility experience.

Experience with biotechnology organizations preferred.

Knowledge of Planned Maintenance protocol
