Facilities Manager

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Facilities Manager, are to:

• Solve advanced problems in area of expertise and more complex problems and issues;
• Manage direct reports through motivation, recognition, leadership, and employee development and administration;
• Provide overall direction for Preventive Maintenance program, maintenance activities across facilities, including Green House, special projects, and agriculture equipment;
• Schedule, prioritize, and assign projects for maintenance activities in Green House and across multiple locations and functions;
• Support and help track budget and purchasing activities related to the area/team;
• Drive operational improvements, metrics tracking and implementation of best practices through team members and along with peers;
• Collaborate with Community Outreach and Planet Impact initiatives;
• Demonstrate knowledge of and adherence to company's HSE Health, Safety and Environmental and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards;
• Establish and use of maintenance software systems enabling the tracking of activities and downtime related to facilities equipment availability;
• Lead people core processes, develop talent, ensure feedback, critical conversations, coaching and development planning are happening;
• Execute and enhance robust facilities, utilities, and electrical systems to promote the standardization of equipment setup, maintenance, and safety across site areas;
• Set up and negotiate long-term maintenance contracts with third-parties for specific areas;
• Set up maintenance strategies including preventative schedules and long term plan;
• Organize and document equipment life-cycle, interventions and reports;
• Position entails driving a company vehicle (pooled or assigned to the individual). This may include being required to drive greater than 5,000 business miles annually in a personal, pooled, or rented vehicleORbeing expected to frequently drive a pooled car as part of your job duties - regardless of mileage.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with at least five years of experience in a manufacturing, agriculture, engineering, maintenance, and/or technical environment;
• Results oriented leadership approach;
• Experience with maintenance software and tracking systems;
• Capability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others through oral or written communications;
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems while exhibiting situational judgment;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills;
• Fluent on Spanish and English language, written and conversational;
• MS Office and Computer software proficiency;

• Ability to lift up to 40lbs;
• Valid Driver's license: Driving record (MVR) will be reviewed and must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers.

Domestic relocation may be provided for this role.
