Volt is hiring an Facilities Technician at a leading organization in South Boston.
Pay rate: $32.21/hour
Standard Shifts M-F
As a Facilities Technician you will

• Be responsible for ongoing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work on facility infrastructure, refrigeration equipment, HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, building management system, and other installed systems.
• Responsible for facility housekeeping and safety requirements.
• Ensure all tasks are completed on-time by the dates established.
• Perform facility inspections and report on condition affecting operations.
• Schedule and coordinate Preventative and Corrective Maintenance Tasks in a timely manner.
• Manage site or leasing company building improvement initiatives and billing.
• Maintain organized Storage Areas of Facility Supplies and Equipment.
• Ensure office areas and facilities are safe and clean for employees.
• Supervise building security including building keys and employee lists.
• Maintain compliance to City, County, State ordinances and codes.

Candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Minimum one year of maintenance experience
• Knowledge of general property management and maintenance
• Basic knowledge of the mechanical, electrical, plumbing and construction trades
• Successful completion of formal technical school courses in HVAC, plumbing, basic electricity and general mechanical repair and maintenance preferred
• Candidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements

Pay rate: $32.21/hour
