  As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you must have a good background in both facility and equipment maintenance, and who are looking for an opportunity to expand their knowledge of traditional maintenance programs and improve equipment reliability through condition monitoring systems and data collection techniques, to drive true condition-based maintenance.
  
  As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:
  
  
• Maintaining the overall facility, keeping things in good working order, and documenting accordingly .
• Requesting, scheduling, and supervising the building contractors.
• Managing third party contractors, supervise them, and enforce safety practices while on site performing work.
• Leading the effort to improve efficiency and effectiveness of building maintenance.
• Assisting with continuous improvement efforts throughout the facility.
• Interfacing daily with internal customers to meet business objectives and external customer requirements.

• Maintaining the inter work order system for facility requests.
• Performing periodic inspection of equipment/systems.
• Collaborating on budgeting for facility's needs.
• Providing support and back up other departments.
• Developing and improving written procedures and checklists.
• Accepting independent responsibility for compliance to Health, Safety and Environment policies.
• Following all departmental policies and procedures.
• Qualifications/Requirements
  
  
• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum 1-year experience in a facilities role within a manufacturing environment.
• General handyman skillset
• Background with electrical/mechanical troubleshooting
• Ability to lift 40lbs. and use hand, power tools, to perform general maintenance tasks
