Job Overview
Lexmark International is seeking a Facilities Engineer to work closely with EH&S, Manufacturing Engineering, Maintenance, and Site Leadership Teams to actively support and lead the execution of facility projects. Area of projects includes HVAC, energy, controls, maintenance, and mechanical engineering. All tasks performed by the facilities engineering will be in strict accordance with any internal policies and Standard Operating Procedures as well as any relevant external regulations.
This position is responsible for planning, implementing and maintaining the plant infrastructure and building equipment. Directly develops facilities plans or works with external vendors to develop and implement facilities plans. The goal of this individual will be focused on keeping the manufacturing facility fully functional. Lexmark is a tenant on a leased premise
Responsibilities:
Job responsibilities and duties include, but not limited to the following:
Fosters an environment of mutual respect, dignity, and trust
Maintains, programs, repairs, and troubleshoots a variety of HVAC and building automation control systems including the end devices it controls.
Works with external vendors to develop and implement facilities projects
Diagnoses mechanical equipment failures and system operations
Coordinates and reviews projects to monitor compliance with building, safety codes and site regulations
Assists with preventative maintenance on site infrastructure
Maintains detailed utilities records and analyzes building energy performance
Acts as the Boulder site focal point person for corporate facilities initiatives
Uses analysis, and knowledge of building systems to prevent or minimize service outages
Develops and maintains standard operating procedures and other procedures for systems to support the facility
Responds to onsite incidents and participates in incident investigation and corrective action
Supports the design of new processes or procedures across the facility oversight of improvement or installation projects
Effectively collaborates with maintenance and engineering departments to provide input for various site activities
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation/Control Engineering or other related fields
Preferred 2- 5 years of experience working in manufacturing plant at Facility Engineering capacity
Basic knowledge of HVAC, controls, & building codes
Basic experience in electrical diagnosis and repair of industrial HVAC equipment including air handling units and chillers
Skills:
Strong leadership skills, with a proven ability to set a vision, work through change and develop and drive a tactical plan which supports the strategic vision
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Must have people skills to establish relationships with people at all levels in the organization, vendors and partners
Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and problem solve
Ability to multitask and work on several items at once
Computer, software and networking skills
Other Qualifications:
Must meet the requirements to work in a U.S. Foreign Trade Zone (as defined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection)
Must be willing and able to work varying shift assignments including after-hours and weekend calls
Work in a variety of environments in and around mechanical equipment including climbing ladders
Salary Range:
$70,000 - $105,000/year based on relevant experience
