Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Facilities Construction Maintenance Technician 2 to support our Facilities Engineering Team located on site in Palmdale, CA.

Role Description & Responsibilities:
The Construction Maintenance Technician is responsible for but not limited to maintenance trades: carpentry, plumbing, painting, machine and equipment repair, electrical, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.

Essential Functions:

• Customer support includes setting up for site and executive events, coordination with multiple stakeholders and require a high attention to detail
• Construction activities may include drywall, patch, paint, build and relocate furniture as required
• Support Facilities Construction Project Managers on facilities projects and all other assigned job duties and tasks as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience working in the manufacturing industry and/or construction environment
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required
• Strong computer, math, analytical, and planning skills
• Capable of obtaining and maintaining a DoD Secret Clearance
• Able to work on site in Palmdale, CA

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current DoD Secret Clearance
• Experience using Maximo Data Base for work tickets and job assignments

Salary Range: $45,900 USD - $76,500 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
