The engine program that powers the F-35 has an opening for a motivated, self-starting F135 Hardware Customer Support Engineer. As part of Military Customer Support & Services, duties include support of Field Customers at Base and Depot Locations across three different military services and multiple international customers. Key Responsibilities: Support three United States Military Services (USAF/USN/USMC) as well as several international customers, providing timely responses to numerous technical questions to ensure uninterrupted daily flight operations. Author presentations, logistics assessments, Position Papers, respond to daily MERLIN responses, and Action Requests (AR). Create maintenance awareness briefings, and support engineering investigations, coordinating with government customers and international Customers. Coordinate technical issue resolution among PW CIPT, Logistics Program Management, and JPO customer. Support monthly safety meeting reporting any impacts to the fleet. Support quarterly Reliability meetings. Duties also include providing Joint Technical Updates pertaining to customer requests and Engineering Changes (EC) for Unit and Depot level maintenance. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field required A minimum of 5+ years of experience working in an engineering related job required US Citizenship required due to government contracts Preferred Qualifications: Jet engine assembly and engine shop maintenance experience Military Hardware Experience a plus.
